Is an experimental indie video game Beau Blyth and I created in two weeks.
Basically you build your own catburger by competing another catburger. The more food your catburger eats, the bigger it becomes and the slower it gets. The catburger which gets the frist 10 ingredients wins.
The music in the game is Beau playing banjo! There's also a button he made which you can press your kitty and make it meow! (be gentle, or your cat might throw up all the food at you in the end.)
Below is a video from the opening night of the Game Over show:
Game developed and programed by Beau Blyth.
You can downlload a demo to play at home with friends from Beau's site (curretly PC only) or stop by GR2! Check out the show, buy some art, books and prints. There're 2 arcade machines set up for multiplayers.

My buddy Sean Chao also made art for a really fun figure/board game collaborated with game programmer Shelby Cinca, it's called "Yeren"! All handmade!
I've been so addicted to Picross 3D recently. Super fun game that I couldn't put it down! I've solved around 122 puzzles so far in the last two weeks.
Picross theme art was the first thing in my mind to make for this year's Game Over at GR2.
I was pretty excited about this year's event. Besides making an art piece, I also worked on an indie video game. I team up with game designer/programmer (also a very talented self-taught artist!) Beau Blyth to creat a new game for the Art X Game series collective. Even tho we only had two weeks to work on it. It was a pretty special and great experience. I will post more about the game in the next post.
Here is the art piece I made for the show:
Together We can play Mario's Picross "3D"! 14"x11" framed Acrylic on handcut wood
Handcut bits made from the leftover wood I collected after frames and panels making.
Wood is a special and important nature resource and material, please do not waste wood or papers. Always save scrap wood for later use, they will be super useful, we never know.

Time goes too fast, I feel that I'm so slow on catching up and updating about my life on this blog... It's progressing. It's growing. It's building up, day by day. I will try to update here more.
Often I update events and artworks on the facebook page. I apologize for the laziness and the advantage of the convenience of facebook. If you have a facebook account...please join my little world there.
I have two events in February, one is the Year of the Dragon show at newly modeled GR2! The new space is really nice. The show is up! Please go to GR2 or site to check it out!
Below is my piece
I have an event tonight for fresh stART 2012 at Arena 1 Gallery the Santa Monica Art Studios. It should be a wonderful event, you can get the ticket on the website or at the door. I will have a new piece in the show along with many artists I adore. Hope you can make it for this one night only event.
My coming shows will be next month, two group shows at Gallery Nucleus and Thinkspace Gallery. I'm also developing a new animation project this year, and also preparing a big show in late summer. Please stay tuned.
SNIFF - Synopsis/Info:
A stop motion animation short about a sandwich cat enjoys the company of its newfound friend in the wonderland inside of a magic bread.
SNIFF is the first video project I collaborated with my brother Will Tee Yang aka the great man behind the camera and post editing. We started filming it in the end of 2010, finished by editing it this year. Soundtrack by Shugo Tokumaru. (Special thanks to Mr Tokumaru for granting us the right to use his music for our animation.) We are also pretty excited that we're invited to this group public screening before we put our video up on the internet!
